Technology is a faster and an easier way of doing things. Technology is the usage of devices and tools. The word Technology is a Greek word technolgia, tech means craft and nologia means the study of somethings. The most popular technology today are ipods, computers, and many others. I feel like technology can changed a person mind. Technology is so powerful that it can change the human brain. The most technology I use today is my computer and my technology. I am on my computer for like about 5 hours. I still am able to get good grades in school. Many people, especially adults think that technology is bad or somethng. Technology really helps world today. If not for technology we wouldnt have airplanes. If we didnt have airplanes how would be able to travel? Many Adults say that technology can affect a persons brain badldy, in my opinion I feel like they are right and wrong at the same time. They are right because I cant seem to be without my cellular phone. I am on my phone practically for ever. I also dont feel they are entirely right, technology in my eyes makes people smarter. I can multi-task, I can do my homework and be on AOL instant messanger (Aim) at the same time. Most people today can not do that. Overall, I feel like technology is a good thing. Trey Sonqz

He started singing at the ahge of 14. He was discovered through a talent show by famous hollywood producer Troy taylor. Trey did not start singing R&B, he started with rap. Many of his family and Freinds said he should drop the rapping and start to sing and thats just what he did. Being discovered led him to the record label "Alantic Records". After Trey grauated from high school he had move to New Jersey to have a boost on his music career. Trey sent an "answer track" to R. Kelly "Trapped in tthe closet", named "Open the closet". His first album "I Gotta Make It" was released in July 2005 by Alantic Records. His album was debuted has number 20 on the Billboard 200, selling over 40,000 copies his first week of sales. Trey realsed his second album, "Trey Day", in October 2007.Many people producted Trey's second album. One of the people that producted the album, was one of his rolemodels, R.Kelly. The album debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200,this album sold more copies than his last album, I Gotta Make It. His second track, (Can't help but Wait) on Trey day, led him to a nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 2009 Grammy Award ceremony. At the ceremony Trey annouced they upcoming release of his third album "Ready", which was released September 2009. His first sing "I need a girl" made his album (Ready) number 3 on the Billboard 200, selling 131,000 copies in his first week of sales. Trey uses alot of his fame and sucess to give back to the comunity and his family. He does not let all the fame and money go to his head like most celebrities today. Beat Street!!!

The movie Beat Street is about hip hop and breaking dancing. The movie was made in the 1980's it was very popular and it was the movie of the summer. The movie was released June 8, 1984. The movie is also about a young boy chasing for his dream to be a DJ. He ants to play at all of the hottest clubs of Manhattan. His dream club that he wanted to play at was called "Roxy". He meets a girl named Tracy, she was a composer and an assistant choreographer from New York college. She inspires him to try to still believe in his dream while still having romance grows between them. I really didn't like the movie. I wasn't really interested in the storyline, but I'm a big fan of hip-hop. I think that the director (Stan Lathan), should have kept the movie on hip-hop. Instead he added break dancing. I feel he didnt do a good job of sticking to one topic. I think this Movie was written to introduce the culture of hip-hop, I dont think he did a good job on that. I also didnt like the setting, I feel that the bronx is not tough enough. The setting should have been in like a third world Country today. I think the storyline does not go with the screenplay. I liked the actors in the movie. I think they played their roles nicely. Overall, I would say that the movie was okay. I think he could have made it better, but I liked the idea of explaning the culture of hip-hop.

My favorite website is www.playlist.com. My favorite website is Playlist because it has many different viarities of music. They have rock, hip hop, and many other generes of music. The reason I enjoy going on Playlist is because it gives freedom to its users. We dont all have to listen to all the same music. Another reason is because Music is like my soul, I live for music. To me, Music is a definition of relaxing. When I get mad, I turn on my computer and go to playlist, I think listening to music calms people down. I also like how playlist lets it users send their playlist to other people. Playlist also let its users link their playlits to other websites like Facbook, Aim, and many other social networking websites. One thing that I really like about playlist is that its free and also you dont have to buy songs. I also like playlist because it can be used at parties and also you can create your own playlist and signup for free. It is a very nice site to listen to your favorite music. Playlist also lets its users comment on other users playlist and rate songs. Playlist is good because you can save money with the site instead of buying a cd, or going on itunes and buying songs.People in this economy would like Playlist, because its free, many people dont have it easy, so Playlist would be a good site for people to relax and enjoy their favorite music. Playlist is like a social networking website because you can find freinds. Its just like any other social networking site, you can have a picture, profile,and even messages. I am also a big fan of Social networking so Playlist would be on of my top websites I visit daily. I spend about 5 hours minimum on Playlist just dancing and listening to my favorite songs. If im not on Playlist, im on Myspace or Aim.Playlist helps me exercise, and also helps me have fun.Ths concludes my reasoning for Playlist being my favorite website.

Chris Brown

R&B singer Chris Brown was seen in Virginia on May 17, 2010 ,in his homestate doing a beneficial concert for Haiti. He raised alot of money and the money went to the red cross to helped rebuiled Haiti and helped the survivors. He also had many others singers there, he had Trey Songz, Ryan Leslie, Keri Hilson, T-Pain, Juelz Santana, and Mario. The concert was hosted at a college in Richmond. It was called Commonwealth University. The concert was also to raise money for Virginia's Central foodbank. It will help many of the common people that live in Virginia today.Chris is trying to clean up his act after allegedly beat ex- girlfreind, r&b singer Rihanna. He has tried to gain his reputation. He was sentenced five years and six months of probation of Community service. I feel he is not trying to help, he just wants to clear his name. He says"The images I see on television, both in my community and in Haiti, remind me that everyone has to do their part." Additional performers at the benefit concert will be announced as the date approaches.I feel like its not coming from his heart.He wants to help Haiti but he wants to get off of community service more. He just wants people to believe he is very nice and kind. I thirnk what hes doing is good for his repuation, and good for Haiti and Virginia. I say go Chris for Helping your communtity and Haiti!
